This morning started with the same ol' routine. Joe got up and got ready for work, luckily I was off today so I got to spend the day with little man :) As usual he woke up with that same old wonderful smile just as he does every single morning. It truly is one of the highlights of our day! He always puts us in a good mood, which is a good thing especially on the mornings when we both have to go to work...blah :(
Smiling that Big Smile :)
After Daddy left for work, Mommy and little man got ready and headed to the Dr. for his appointment. He has a small cold, but other than that he is healthy as can be, which I am so thankful for! He weighed in at 19.1 Ibs today. I can hardly believe that he is already 8 months old. Seriously where does the time go. You always hear your parents saying..."The years just fly by." Well I guess I am a parent now so I can officially join that club and say...."The years really do fly by." My little man will turn 1 in only 4 short months. I'm pretty sure I will cry on that day, it is just a given :( Ok enough of the rambling on haha. After little man's appointment we went to Hobby Lobby and did a little shopping and thought about meeting Daddy for lunch, but then decided we didn't want to wait around that long so we drove back home and Mommy tried to clean while little stinker drug out every toy he could find and unfolded all the clothes that Mommy worked so hard to fold. (Ok, so I probably didn't work that hard, but still, lol). Needless to say I have found that it is much easier to just sit in the floor and play with the little bug instead of trying to get all the house work done while he is awake!
Making Messes!
After a long day of cleaning and playing and wearing ourselves down, little bug and I decided that we wanted to have a weenie roast tonight, so we called up Daddy and asked if he would stop and get all the necessary items needed in order to make it happen. So after Daddy got off work he stopped by the store and got some hot dogs and started the fire. Tonight really is a beautiful night and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it anywhere else in the world except for right here at the house with my two boys! They are the air I breath :) I am so blessed by the Grace of God!
